Kimberly Young Joins SalesChain as Senior Account Executive
[Waterbury, CT]: Kimberly Young (Kim) will join SalesChain’s sales staff as a Senior Account Executive effective November 1st, 2021. Young is an experienced sales consultant focused on being an integral partner and advisor to help develop and achieve customers’ strategic goals.
With over 10 years of SaaS sales experience at the enterprise level, Young has been lauded for exceeding goals and quotas and is ranked as a top achiever. Prior to her current position as an Enterprise Account Manager at Jitterbit, Young served as the Director of Business Development at Synergy Telcom. After nearly four years with Synergy, Young became a Consultant at ListenUp. Young then moved on to represent Envysion as a Senior Account Executive.

Regularly Scheduled Group Training Sessions for SalesChain Users is Back
SalesChain will begin offering quarterly New User and Management Reporting training sessions in fall 2021
[Waterbury, CT]: Bringing back an old tradition, SalesChain’s help desk staff elected to begin offering quarterly group training sessions for our New User and Management Reporting trainings. These sessions will be open to our entire user base.
New user training covers basic CRM topics and best practices like entering new customer information, logging activities like phone calls, and creating leads. Management Reporting training is a course for sales and upper management which focuses on generating reports out of SalesChain and understanding how the data within them is presented.
These sessions are ideal for companies who may have added one or two new sales reps, or who have had a change in their management staff. In the wake of many staff changes in the fall of 2021, the Help Desk’s goal in reinstating these sessions is to maximize the value of our support offerings.
“We want to make sure users who may be new to the system have a good understanding of basic functions and best practices without having to charge the customer organization additional funds for a private session,” Says SalesChain Trainer, Matthew Szczygiel.
These sessions will be available quarterly and are open to registration by anyone who is a current user of the SalesChain system. The first sessions are scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, November 15th and 16th.

President Tim Szczygiel asks customers to donate to TAPS alongside the software provider
[Waterbury, CT]: SalesChain president Tim Szczygiel has donated $500 to the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) and is asking his dealer customers to donate with him. Whether this gift is a donation, large or small, or taking action in some other way to show your appreciation, the families of those affected will be extremely grateful.
Tim Referenced this Facebook post written by Geoff Ball, the commanding officer of the marines who lost their lives, as a great place to donate and read further.
“The events in Afghanistan are heartbreaking for all of us,” says Tim. “We are blessed to live in this great country with the freedoms that so many have given their lives to protect.”
According to their website, TAPS “provides comfort, care, and resources to all those grieving the death of a military loved one. Since 1994 TAPS has provided comfort and hope 24/7 through a national peer support network and connection to grief resources, all at no cost to surviving families and loved ones.”

Real-Time Inventory Management Tool
A feature suggested by members of the Select Dealer Group (SDG) and Pro Dealer Group (PDG) will be available in SalesChain’s Next Build
[Waterbury, CT]: Based on feedback from the SDG and PDG group members, SalesChain has added a new feature* to display real-time inventory levels for products that are on the forecast. This new feature allows the user to select any number of filtering criteria, including period of time, stage of the deal, or branch before viewing the real-time inventory of all products related to the primary proposal or the order that is associated with the opportunity.
This feature will significantly reduce the guessing of what should be purchased and improve purchasing discounts. It will also reduce delivery times by allowing purchasing managers to preemptively stock equipment.
“The idea for this feature came after a presentation I gave for the SDG,” says Tim Szczygiel, President of SalesChain. “With supply issues being one of the main concerns for the industry this year, and since we already have access to both forecasting data and inventory data for our customers, this build was easy and just made sense.”
“No question, this is the most impactful upgrade I can remember seeing, at least in some time.” Says Evan Hantman, Director of Data Strategy at LDI Color Toolbox.
According to SalesChain, the feature cross-references inventory data from a dealer’s e-Automate instance with the orders and proposals priced within SalesChain. This allows fulfillment staff to cross-reference and pre-order equipment, which is proposed by salespeople, and suggest alternatives or used machines where applicable.
The feature became available in SalesChain’s 7.08 build, which was released on 11/14/2021. More About version 7.08.
*This feature is only available for dealers utilizing SalesChain’s new PIP interface to e-Automate. Please contact SalesChain support if you have not yet begun your upgrade process.

Your customers are your greatest advocates. As a software provider, you might think our largest department, in terms of the sheer number of staff, would be in marketing or development, but it is actually our help desk. That front-line interface to our users determines how well our product is used and how well it is perceived. That impression sets us apart from big-box software and has helped us succeed.

About the Hispanic League Scholarship:
The Hispanic League, in keeping with their mission to improve the quality of life for Hispanics/Latinos through promoting community inclusion, education, health and multicultural understanding, has established this program to provide scholarships for deserving students. In 2021 we are able to award 50 scholarships to some extraordinary students looking to continue their education! Counting the amount given this year we have now surpassed $1,300,500 in scholarships given since the program began.
IT ALL STARTED IN 2000…
Ever since the Hispanic League Scholarship Program has grown steadily due to the hard work, dedication, and passion of volunteers and donors. The International Scholarship & Tuition Services (ISTS), an independent agent, assists with the criteria and fair selection of the scholarship winners.
To apply for the scholarship, applicants:
Must be current or former Forsyth County English Language Learner (ELL) student
Be of Hispanic/Latino origin
Be present on Spanish Nite, to be held April 17, 2021, to receive their award and attend the Scholarship Orientation on March 7, 2021
Must be in good academic standing (2.7 GPA Minimum)
Have financial need
Must apply to an accredited institution of higher education
Volunteer a minimum of 20 hours
The Scholarship Committee matches the ISTS selected recipients with sponsors, who present awards to the students at the annual Spanish Nite Gala. In 2021, the League has again a total of 50 scholarships recipients with outstanding achievements and academic success. We also exceeded the $1,300,500 value for a total of 554 scholarships.

Quick Search Has Changed: Here’s What You Need To Know
- On Sunday April 18, 2021, SalesChain performed an update to the system which reduced the options in the Quick Search panel.
- The tool is not gone, and many of the most useful quick searches are still available; Including the popular “All Account By Name” search.
- The “All Account By Name” and “All Account By Phone” searches are read-only and will not let users see details of accounts or orders they do not have access to.
- We encourage users to search in the account screen and order desk using our column and advanced search features.
How do I Continue Searching?
1) Use the column headers in the accounts screen to search for accounts by name, address, ID and more.
2) Use the advanced search drop downs in the accounts screen to search for additional details.
3) Use the search drop downs in the order desk to find orders by date, value or details. TIP: You can search by the proposal/order number or company name using the magnifying glass on the right.
